Today is also about telecommunication but it's talk about the Facsimile System and Paging System.

Facsimile is also known as fax in short. The word of facsimile come from Latin fac simile which mean "make similar" or "make a copy". It's a telecommunications technology used to transfer copies of documents, especially using affordable devices operating over the telephone network.

A "fax machine" usually consists of an image scanner, a modem, a printer, and usually a phone combined into a single package. The scanner can converts the content printed on a physical document into a digital image. The modem used to send the image data over a phone line to another device and the printer at the far end produces a copy of the transmitted document.
I like fax machine so much especially when i need to print some document in an emergency moment.

A pager which also can called a beeper, is a simple personal telecommunications device for short messages. There are three types of pager which is numeric pagers, alphanumeric pagers and two-way alphanumeric pagers. Numeric pagers are the simplest of the type of devices offering only a numeric display of the phone number to be called and pager codes. Alphanumeric pagers are essentially modified versions of numeric pagers with sophisticated display to accommodate text. These devices are usually given an email address to receive text messages. Two-way Alphanumeric pagers are alphanumeric pagers with the ability to send text messages typed in with a small keyboard. I still remembered my dad had the first type of pager when i was in primary school but he didn't use it anymore after he bought his first handphone. It's too pity because we didn't keep the pager.
